Former shareholder Greg Petrie is currently of Counsel to the firm. Mr. Petrie’s practice is focused in the following areas, in which he has developed significant expertise during his over 35 years of representing estates, individuals and businesses.
Commercial Services
Advice and counsel in corporate organization and reorganization, shareholder agreements, acquisitions and sales of businesses, sales of business interests, formation and dissolution of partnerships and limited liability companies and commercial transactions.
Construction and Real Estate Services
Representation in real estate transactions and in matters relating to all phases of real estate development, land use, condominium law, community and condominium associations law and private lien claims. Mr. Petrie also has extensive expertise in the preparation of earnest money/real estate purchase and sale agreements, property defect and defect disclosure issues, appraisal malpractice, residential and commercial leases, easement and use agreements, and encroachment, water intrusion, lateral support and slide disputes.
Mr. Petrie also provides representation to clients involved in all aspects of building and project design and construction, including representation of architects, engineers and consultants, owners, prime and subcontractors and material suppliers, with respect to contract, payment, and defect disputes, public bond and retainage claims and private bond and lien claims.
Estate Planning and Probate Services
Mr. Petrie also represents clients in the areas of estate and retirement planning, preparation of wills and trusts, probate administration, and guardianships.
