Krutch Lindell Attorneys Nate Bingham and Jimmy Anderson Speak at the 46th Annual Pacific Northwest Aviation Law and Insurance Conference

On September 27th and 28th, Krutch Lindell attorneys Nate Bingham and Jimmy Anderson each spoke at the 46th Annual Pacific Northwest Aviation Law and Insurance Conference.
On Friday, September 27th Nate Bingham presented on “Emotional Injuries under the Montreal Convention.” Nate’s presentation focused on the current state of the law in emotional injury claims aboard international commercial flights. Tracing the history of Article 17 accidents, Nate explained to the audience of lawyers and insurance professionals how recent case law has expanded the availability of damages available to passengers injured or assaulted on commercial airliners. Nate is the current Secretary-Treasurer of the King County Bar Association’s Aviation Section, which hosts the conference.
On Saturday, September 28th, Jimmy Anderson provided a presentation on “CR2A Agreements and Finalizing Settlements,” where he provided analysis and advice on effectively settling cases. The presentation included settlement of wrongful death airplane crash cases, which make up the majority of Jimmy’s practice. Jimmy is a past Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary Treasurer of the King County Bar Association’s Aviation Section.
